Naxos is the most fertile of the Cyclades, with high moutains and green valleys with olives, grapes, figs and citrus trees

Naxos has 20.000 inhabitants, where about half of them live in Chora, the main town of Naxos. Chora is a charming experience with its narrow alleys containing both shops and tavernas. At the top of the hill above the town, the venetian castle is throning. The town is very beutiful with its white Greek houses and the magnificent flowers.

Naxos is centrally situated with respect to ferry connections, both to neigbouring islands and Athens.

Naxos has high mountains, deep and fertile vallys as well as many charming villages. The island is well known for its long and beutiful beaches with the most delisious azure-blue sea. Windsurfing is popular.
